The River is a post-apocalyptic fantasy novel, full of philosophical debates from different characters. the story is in the romance genre based on the "Haft Khan Esfandiyar" from the ancient epic poetry book of "Shahnameh" by the 10th-century Persian poet, "Ferdowsi".
the same story is used as the narrative background for Arashk Azizi's symphony No. 2 in C minor.
PLOT:
Logan is the only man who can see a river. he lives in the far future where there is no trace of rivers left on earth. he starts a journey with his goblin friend, Laura, to find the source of the river and on the way, they face different creatures and obstacles and discover lots of mysteries about the history of the earth.

the story takes place in the head of a pawn who has been through many battles on the chessboard and now is thinking about its existence.
